Executive Spa Room

Wherever you look, you will be immersed in Alaska sky, river, and mountain views.  Plus, you will have a luxurious and spacious bath room to refresh you from your journey.

Views:  The Executive Spa King bedroom is a five sided room in which three sides are windows 6 feet high and 6 to 8 feet wide.  You are surrounded by unbroken panoramic views of the Alaska Range, the confluence of the Chena and Tanana Rivers, and also Chena Ridge.  You can see the sister mountain to Mt McKinley from your bed.  In summer, it is common for falcons to fly by the windows as they hunt voles on our 2 plus acres of grounds.  

You will have a King 'Select Number Bed' which allows you to set the softness and firmness on each side of the bed. Enjoy views of nature and sky in an amazingly quiet setting.

These wall size windows are dressed with a system of blinds, full length black out curtains (convenient for AC users), and also partial length black out curtains (convenient for open window sleeping).  The room is done in serene colors of blues and browns.  Your floor length curtains are a silk chocolate brown which can be pulled back completely.

Closet Amenities:  Off the bedroom is a dressing room closet which has: A Full Chest of Drawers with Marble Top, A 2nd Chest of Drawers, A Small Library of Alaskan Books, Board Games, Extra Pillows and Blankets, Emergency Equipment Set, Shoe Shine Stool, Vanity Bench, Luggage Rack, Massage Table, Hand Neck and Back Massager, 2-Flash Lights (Winter), 2 Road Towels for Hot Springs with Shower Set, Iron and Ironing Board.

Our favorite thing to do is watch the birds from the windows.  Early morning you can catch a glimpse of Moose stealing a snack out of our flower beds.  We also have fox, wolf, and an occasional bear or wolverine, but you have to be lucky to see them.

The Spa bathroom has an oversized soaking tub, bidet, oversized jetted shower (fits 2 to 4), a double sink and large two person vanity to store all your things within easy reach.  

Bathroom Amenities: 2 Plush Terri Bath Robes, Laundry Basket, 5 Set Toiletries, Unlimited Bath Gel and Bath Salts, 8 Over Sized Bath Towels, 10 Wash Clothes, Scales, Hair Dryer, Large Lighted Vanity Mirror with Magnification, Water cooler with Ice Cold or Steaming Hot Spring Water.

Housekeeping:  Your bathroom will be cleaned daily and fresh towels given.  Beds are made daily.  All bedding, including blankets, duvets, and spreads, are cleaned for each guest. Bed linens are changed every 3rd day unless needed sooner.

Laundry-- One load of laundry per day may be done for you by housekeeping.  Please leave clothes on your bed with instructions. 

Breakfast--  Please select from our breakfast menu and notify the kitchen before 1:00 pm on the day prior to the morning your breakfast will be served.  Breakfast is anytime up to 10:30 am and can be had in the 2nd floor dining room or you may take a tray up to your room.  Breakfast for each morning of your stay is included with guest room reservations year round. (Note:  If you are considering a suite, please read breakfast service policy for suites which is different than guest room breakfast service).

Winter Car Plug In--  We provide an electrical plug in for one car per guest room.

Business Center-- Open anytime in the morning up to 10:30 am and in the evenings open from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  3 Computers, Printer, Fax.  Dale and Jo has Wi-Fi throughout and each bedroom has a computer desk.

Restrictions:  We do not allow children under 12 on the 3rd floor. However, children of any age are welcome in our suites which are on the 1st floor.

Package Option:  The Executive Spa room is next to the Flower Room and can be reserved together at a discounted package price.  There is sound proofing between the two rooms.  Each guest room has its own private bath.

Policy:  Please review our policy page.  We are no smoking.  We require 14 days cancellation notice. We do not run your credit card until you check in.  We do not allow guest pets.  (You may meet our six toed, 25 year old Tom cat in our 2nd floor parlor, but he is never allowed in a guest room.  His name is ‘Moo’.)
