Dale and Jo View Suites DIRECTIONS from Denali or Anchorage

Directions Dale and Jo View Suites -- Anchorage / Denali into Fairbanks

As you leave Denali and head out to Fairbanks , you will be driving the Parks Highway . 

TIME:  It will take you 2 to 2.5 hours. 

The Parks Highway goes right through Fairbanks , so this is very easy.  You will see signs for Fairbanks .  The Parks Highway will first cross ‘ Geist Road / Chena Pump Road .’  This road has three names depending on where you are:  Geist, Chena Pump, Johanson.  It is all the same road.

  1. You are on the Parks Hwy.   You see the Welcome to Fairbanks sign.  You will take the Chena Pump/Geist Road exit. You will drive to the traffic light and turn RIGHT onto Chena Pump Road . 

[Note if you turned left at the traffic light the road would be called Geist Road .  Also remember to drive all the way to the traffic light.  When you first see the Fairbanks sign-- Do not take the first exit road to the right (with no traffic light) which takes you behind the shopping center.  If you do this you will enter onto Chena Ridge Road and get lost.]

  1. You will immediately pass ‘Jus-a-store’ on your right…keep going.  You will eventually past The Pump House Restaurant on your LEFT.  The second road after the Pump House Restaurant on your RIGHT will be ROLLAND ROAD .  Turn RIGHT onto ROLLAND ROAD .  There will be a big yellow sign indicating this road.
  1. Go all the way to the END of ROLLAND ROAD .  Turn LEFT onto EAST CHENA HILLS Road . 

[Point of Confusion-- Note: The road sign says East Chena Hills Road but going left actually puts you on West Chena Hills Road .  This road use to be a circle.  The first road you will see on your right will say West Chena Hills.  Do not turn right on this first road.  You are also on West Chena Hills Road .  Keep going straight.]

  1. You will pass 3 roads on your RIGHT.  You will Pass FORREST ROAD , MERRISSA ROAD , and CRAFT ROAD .

5.  Turn RIGHT onto CRAFT ROAD .  We are about the 5th or 6th house on the right.  There will be a lamp post at the end of our driveway and a sign that says Dale and Jo, 3260 Craft Road .  The house is 3 stories with a RED door.  There is a fancy shed with a porch and a RED door also.
